About Akshay Kulkarni

Dr. Akshay Kulkarni is a qualified gastroenterologist with a strong academic and clinical background. He completed his MBBS from Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Medical College, Pune (Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik) in 2014, followed by an MD in General Medicine from Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur in 2018.

He went on to pursue his super-specialization, earning a DrNB in Medical Gastroenterology from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBE), New Delhi, in 2023. He is registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council (Registration No. 2014/05/2219).

Committed to advanced, hands-on training in the latest endoscopic techniques to provide the highest standard of gastroenterology care.

  • Completed DNB training in Gastroenterology at KIMS Hospitals, Secunderabad (2020–2023).
  • Hands-on training in ERCP and EUS at Ansh Gastro Clinic, Ahmedabad, a centre recognised by the World Endoscopy Organization.
  • Extensive residency experience in General Medicine, including postings at J.L.N. Medical College & Associated Group of Hospitals, Ajmer; Government Medical College, Aurangabad; and the American International Institute of Medical Sciences, Udaipur.

With a solid foundation in internal medicine and specialized training in advanced endoscopic procedures, Dr. Kulkarni is dedicated to accurate diagnosis and compassionate, patient-centred treatment for digestive and liver conditions.
